The data processed by us:

  • Your information as a user that you have provided to us (name, email address, telephone number…)
  • EuroCharter Ltd., as data controller, places small text files, called cookies (cookies), on the computer of its visitors, for a variety of purposes. The purpose of the processing

 
The data will be processed for the purposes described in our guidelines, including:
 
  1. the use of EuroCharter Ltd. services by the user,
  2. online content services;
  3. User identification, provision of information to the user;
  4. identification of user rights (user-available services);
  5. collecting information on how to improve the user experience by means of statistical tools and improving and fine-tuning the website in line with visitors’ habits;
  6. the collection and recording of information technically essential for the use of the website features and of the operations carried out;
  7. the handling and management of individual user requests;
  8. the exercise of the legitimate interests of the controller.

The purpose of the processing of contact information is to allow the service provider to respond to requests of a general nature sent to one of the communication channels published in the ‘CONTACT’ section of the Kft.’s website, after receiving and registering such requests, by contacting the requesting person via the contact details provided.

The legal basis for the processing of data

The consent of the User in accordance with Section 5 (1) of Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-determination and Freedom of Information (Info tv.) and Section 13/A (3) of Act CVIII of 2001 on Electronic Commerce and on Information Society (hereinafter referred to as Elker tv.). The processing of data is carried out in full accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 2016 April 17 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”) and Act CXII of 2011 on Informational Self-determination and Freedom of Information.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data under this policy is Article 6(1)(a) of GDPR, based on which you have given your consent to the processing of your personal data for one or more specific purposes. This consent is considered to be given by you, when you disclose your personal data to us.

The duration of the processing

The service provider shall only process the data provided when the user established contact until the consent given has been withdrawn, otherwise until the request has been answered. If the customer provides unlawful, deceptive personal data or commits a crime or there is an attack on the system, the controller shall have the right to delete the user’s data without delay, but shall be entitled to retain the data for the duration of the procedure in the event of a suspected criminal offense or a suspicion of civil liability (and to notify the competent authority thereof).

Access to data

Besides the user, access to the personal data processed shall be restricted to the staff of the service provider, to the extent necessary for the operation. The data is processed by a service provider and is not accessible to a third party.

Users may request information about or may inform the service provider of any changes in the data processing, its mode, content, time, location and any data management activity at any time.
